Fountain City Coffee Company approached me to design packaging for their locally roasted coffee. coffee. Given that the company's name pays homage to the city's identity, I was inspired to create a design that celebrated local sites such as the Riverwalk, the charming histric homes of Weracoba Heights and Broadway Street, where Fountain City is located along the many unique fountains the city is known for. The illustration create a seamless pattern that beautifully wraps around the bag to create a captivating view from every angle.
To ensure both practicality and aesthetic appeal, I implemented a system of colored labels. This allows Fountain City to print one type of bag in bulk, securing a cost-effective solution and then use the colored labels to customize the name for each coffee blend they offer. This thoughtful design not only showcases the spirit of Columbus but also provides an efficient packaging solution for the company.
