A highlight of this year was collaborating with the talented  Fran Keenan on her Tastemaker Collection for Dogwood Hill. I’ve long admired Fran’s iconic blend of old-world charm with modern design, where she masterfully layers textiles and unexpected elements. For this collection, she created an Elizabethan-inspired collage in her studio as a jumping-off point for the collection. 

The suite is anchored by two stunning patterns: one inspired by a tapestry in Fran’s studio and the other drawing from historic Elizabethan tile designs. My deep dive into Elizabethan style led me to Hardwick Hall, a Tudor-era masterpiece built by Bess of Hardwick. This estate, known for its architectural innovation, houses one of the world’s most celebrated collections of 16th- and 17th-century textiles.

This year, both patterns are available as wrapping paper alongside holiday cards, invitations, and stationery.

I love this dining room by Fran Keenan. The way she layers textiles in her work is effortlessly sophisticated, and I wanted to emulate that in her holiday suite.
